By participating in GAIN, I understand and agree that:

1. Individual Views. Opinions, guidance, recommendations, and information shared by mentors or other participants are their own and do not represent or constitute an endorsement by the National Academy of Inventors (“NAI”) or GAIN.
2. Not Professional Advice. GAIN is provided for mentoring, educational, and informational purposes. Information shared through the platform is not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, investment, medical, intellectual property, regulatory, or other professional advice. Participants are responsible for consulting appropriate qualified professionals before acting on information received through GAIN.
3. My Decisions and Participation. Participation is voluntary and does not guarantee any particular result or opportunity. I am responsible for evaluating information received and for my own decisions and actions.
4. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property. Participants should not disclose confidential, proprietary, unpublished, patent-sensitive, export-controlled, or other restricted information unless authorized to do so. Participation in GAIN does not create confidentiality, nondisclosure, intellectual property, fiduciary, or other professional obligations between participants unless separately agreed to in writing.
5. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NAI, GAIN, their affiliates, participating institutions, officers, directors, employees, representatives, volunteers, mentors, and participants are not liable for claims, losses, damages, or other consequences arising from participation in GAIN, reliance on information provided through the platform, or interactions between participants, except where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
